In the growing and successful Arizto team of the Manawatu-Whanganui region, the standout performer for the past three years has been Whanganui's Rochelle Burton.
Read moreNew Zealand's most technically progressive real estate company achieved a significant milestone at the start of this month which shows they offer not only good service for owners, but plentiful stock for buyers.
Now with over 200 established salespeople around the country and around 25 more starting soon, as per the volume of listings on nationally-popular Trademe, Arizto agents can currently offer 1000 active listings for sale for the first time since the company's inauguration in 2018.
The milestone-breaking four digit number was proudly announced to the team by Arizto's Chief Operations Officer Martin Towers on social media platforms on October 6th.
"This is a massive milestone, and it's a direct result of the hard work, dedication, and passion that each of you brings every single day," Towers said.
"I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for your contributions, and a big shout-out to our clients and customers who trust us to make their real estate journey smarter and better.
"Let's use this milestone as motivation to continue raising the bar, reaching new heights, and showing Kiwis what fair, smart, and modern real estate looks like."
Of course, the main objective of listing properties is not to hold giant numbers but of course provide our clients the home owners with satisfactory sales so they can move onto their next horizons.
But nonetheless, across New Zealand, having ever-increasing market shares allows buyers to appreciate that when you are looking for your next home or investment opportunity, an Arizto salesperson is quite likely to have just the thing on their books.
Although, be quick, just because you see it on Trademe does not mean that the property has not yet gone under contract as a satisfied buyer may have already made a conditional offer and will be working through their buying process as quickly as possible to secure the keys.
In a breakdown of areas that makeup the 1000 figure, the strongest remains the main centres of Canterbury and then the ultra-competitive market of Auckland, closely followed by the fine crew in the Arizto stronghold of Bay of Plenty.
Another ever-expanding base of operations is Manawatu-Whanganui, also with well over 100 listings on offering, while the Waikato, Otago, and Nelson-Tasman regions provide considerable property options thanks to the hard-working teams in those areas.
While they may be on the boundaries of fair Aotearoa, you'll find dozens of signs and open home flags in Northland, Southland and on the West Coast.
These statistics stand as a big reason why Arizto has rapidly grown to the sixth largest real estate company in New Zealand – as home owners appreciate the innovative approach with complimentary marketing, digital platforms reducing time and paperwork, and a fairer rate of sales commission.
Chief Executive Officer Daniel Budd also sent his congratulations to the team as Arizto gears up for a fantastic spring and summer for the rest of 2024.
"Having over 1000 properties currently on the market is less of a business achievement and more a result of such incredible work by our team of dedicated real estate experts throughout the country.
"This is a milestone that many businesses, be it regional or national, never reach and shows that the people we are attracting to work with us at Arizto are operating at an extremely high level in their field.
"It's so exciting to think where we will be after another few years in the market - we are still so young as a business!"
TOP FIVE STARTUPS AWARD 2024
The 1000 listing milestone follows further good news this month that international business and employment focused social media platform Linkedin recognised Arizto as one of New Zealand's Top 5 Startups for 2024.
Linkedin's performance criteria for making their Top 5 of emerging companies in this country is based on four key factors – employee growth, job seeker interest, internal engagement between the company and its members, and the ability to attract talent from other companies.
The eligibility criteria for being on this Top 5 list are the companies must be headquartered in New Zealand, fully independent and privately held, have 30 or more fulltime staff, and be no more than seven-years-old.
The only real estate brand in the Top 5, Arizto stands alongside companies like Tracksuit (Market Research), Tend Health Ltd (Medical Practices), Petdirect (Retail for Animal Care) and one of our partners in First AML (Software Development).
"These companies aren't just growing fast and garnering attention from investors and job seekers — they're also building innovative solutions that are shaping the future of their industries, whether it's brand marketing, healthcare, retail, tech or real estate," said the Linkedin press release.
"Arizto is a real estate agency that leverages technology to simplify the property-selling process.
"It offers a platform where homeowners can list their properties with professional support while minimising traditional commission fees."
Budd said to have this independent recognition for new companies across all industries is fantastic.
"For myself and the team who have been so involved in growing Arizto over the last few years it was actually quite an emotional moment.
"Embarking on a mission to disrupt an industry and provide Kiwis with a smarter option to sell their homes has been a rollercoaster.
"It's incredibly fun and rewarding, but can be a lonely place at times.
"This award has shown us that what we are doing is being recognised and appreciated by those who matter to us.
"It fills us with a lot of satisfaction and excitement for Arizto's journey from here."
