Aaron Flowerday has been in real estate for over a decade. Before moving into sales, Aaron worked in business development for a real estate company, giving him a deep understanding of what people are looking for when buying or selling property.

This is higher-fee companies trying to justify their ridiculous charges.”

His advice to sellers is equally direct. “Don’t be sucked into the mainstream thinking about real estate. If we all do the same thing, what company is going to provide great service and a fair commission rate?” He encourages sellers to work out the difference in fees and think about what they are about to throw away. “Money is too hard to come by these days due to the cost of living.”

Communication is everything to Aaron. It is, in his words, the key to great real estate. “Communicate and just be yourself.” It is a simple philosophy, but it is one that has kept clients coming back for over ten years.

Aaron works at the top of the South Island, a region he describes with genuine affection. “With the Marlborough Sounds on our doorstep, amazing wines and sun, it is a beautiful place.” The market has fluctuated over recent years, moving from a seller’s market to a buyer’s market, and Aaron believes it is now entering a more balanced phase.

Outside of real estate, Aaron is lucky enough to have a family property in the Marlborough Sounds. He also loves spending time with his granddaughters. And when the world slows down, you will find him sitting on the wharf with a fishing rod in hand.
