Adam Fuller - Real Estate with Real Conversations

30 May 2026

Some people enter real estate because it looks exciting. Others because they see opportunity. For Adam Fuller, it was both, and a perfectly timed pivot during one of the most uncertain periods in recent history.

When Covid lockdown hit, Adam was running his own plastering and painting business with several employees. The property market was hot, agents were thriving and he made a decision that would change the trajectory of his career. While the country slowed down, Adam sped up and stepped into the world of real estate.

“I saw other agents doing well and thought, ‘I can do that’.”

That confidence wasn’t blind optimism. It was built on years in the building industry, hands-on property experience and understanding homes from the inside out. It’s a foundation that still shapes how he works today.

Adam’s move to Arizto marked a major turning point. “The number of dramas decreased to zero. Arizto’s easy, modern and far superior in process and technology.”

For Adam, real estate was never about sitting behind a desk waiting for something to happen. It was about momentum. Conversations. Listings. Helping people move forward.

With Arizto’s systems and no upfront cost structure, he spends less time on admin and more time doing what he genuinely loves, talking to people. “Arizto allows me to talk on the phone all day long and help people. That’s what I love most about my job.” It is that human connection that is central to how he works.

One of the elements that Adam values most about Arizto is its alignment. With Arizto’s no upfront cost model, the company, the agent and the seller all share the same goal - a successful result.

“There’s skin in the game from everyone,” he explained. “It gives me more time to actually talk to my clients instead of sending emails and texts.”

In a market where responsiveness and honest matter more than ever, Adam believes communication is everything. “Time matters. Response time is crucial. Both parties need to feel like they matter, because they do.”

Adam is refreshingly direct about the industry. “There are two types of agents,” Adam said. “Those who are money driven and those who genuinely try to help people. Choose wisely.” His approach is firmly rooted in service. That doesn’t mean avoiding hard conversations, in fact, quite the opposite.

He’s seen the shift in the local market clearly. The sellers who succeed today are those who are realistic. “Holding on to a cloud that was in the sky five years ago, that’s something they never actually had. Sellers who understand today’s market are the ones who move forward.”

His advice to anyone preparing to sell? Let him walk through it with you. With an extensive background in decorating and the building trade, Adam brings practical, grounded advice to preparing a home for the market. “Sometimes the easiest option is the best option. You need to pick your battles when it comes to investing time and money.” Not every wall needs repainting. Not every kitchen needs replacing. Smart preparation beats expensive overcapitalisation every time.

Adam is proud to sell in the town where he grew up. The Eastern Coromandel isn’t just a market to him, it’s home. “Every property here is a hidden gem.” From coastal pockets to lifestyle blocks, the region offers a blend of beauty and authenticity that buyers are increasingly drawn to. And now, backed by Arizto’s national reach and technology, Adam can showcase those properties to a far wider audience.

One standout moment for Adam was helping a client understand how to navigate a buyers’ market. When sellers are also buying again, there’s strategic power available, but only if they’re willing to look at the full picture. “Use your buying power in line with what’s on offer for your property.” By helping his client secure an offer and think strategically about their next move, he wasn’t just closing a deal, he was helping them position themselves smartly in the broader market. That’s the difference between transaction and strategy.

Outside of real estate, Adam brings the same energy to his personal passions. He’s a live musician performing regular shows, and when time allows, you’ll find him fishing, diving or surfing.

And if he could list a property for any celebrity? “Van Halen,” he laughs. "Hopefully I’d get a guitar lesson.

Adam Fuller isn’t driven by desk time, ego or inflated promises. He’s driven by conversations, realism and helping people move forward with clarity. In a market where honesty, responsiveness and alignment matter more than ever his approach is simple; be available, be real and help people make smart decisions.
